Brilliant things to do

in February

The shy February sun makes us glimpse the end of winter soon approaching. Very little is missing, but let’s not rush things and after enjoying January, which is known as the month of good intentions, let’s try to do the same with February.

Our monthly calendar will help you continue this 2022 on the right foot.

03.12.21 – 10.04.22 ETTORE SOTTSASS. STRUTTURA E COLORE. TRIENNALE

For more than forty years, Moses Pendletonhas amazed us with more than suggestive choreographed shows and sets.

18.02.22 GIORGIO POI. TEATRO DEL VERME

Gommapiuma is the singer-songwriter’s third album and hasn’t been out for less than two months. Giorgio Poi is an eclectic musician with a metallic and almost androgynous voice. Reminds us of Lucio Battisti.

18.02.22 – 03.07.22 HENRI CARTIER – BRESSON. CHINA 1948-49. MUDEC

The exhibition traces the ten months spent by the photographer in China on behalf of Life magazine. The pioneer of photojournalism found himself in the country during the establishment of the communist regime, as documented by the more than one hundred prints and archival materials that will be viewable at MUDEC.

An unmissable opportunity!

23.02.22 – 05.06.22 TIZIANO E L’IMMAGINE DELLA DONNA. PALAZZO REALE

A collective show about the representation of female beauty in Venice during the sixteenth century.

27.02.22 MERCATONE DELL’ANTIQUARIATO SUL NAVIGLIO GRANDE

It is truly a market that once a month brings almost 400 exhibitors to the Naviglio Grande and some side streets (via Corsico and via Paoli).

You can spend even more than half a day there, between vintage and antiques, furniture and eyewear, curiosities and jewels from other times, waiting for the local bars and craft shops in the area to reopen one by one.

VINOIR. RIPA DI PORTA TICINESE 93B

And since we are in the area, we recommend this cozy little place where you can taste a wide selection of natural wines.

We would like to recommend our favorite: order a glass of any Sylvain Pataille wine you won’t regret!
