Brilliant things to do

this Summer

Summer in Italy means sitting out late in a piazza watching the world go by, enjoying a gourmet dinner set in one of Milano’s hidden gardens, and drinking a glass of fresh white wine on the banks of the Naviglio Grande.

Summer means tomatoes, eggplant, basil, peaches and figs – all ingredients for  Italian delicatessen. And gelato to cool you as you explore the city streets.

15.07.22 – 11.12.22 UNKNOWN UNKNOWNS. TRIENNALE DI MILANO

There are things that we still “do not know we do not know” and, moreover, in many areas: from the city’s evolution to the oceans, from genetics to astrophysics. This exhibition, conceived as an open debate, helps us to explore the unknown by involving designers, architects, artists, playwrights and musicians.

16.03.22 – 31.07.22 CHAGALL. UNA STORIA DI DUE MONDI. MUDEC

An exhibition project that shows us an unusual Chagall focused on his graphic and illustration works for publishing. Also on display are the original drawings that Chagall conceived for the books of his beloved wife Bella, centred on their childhood memories, in the Jewish community of Vitebsk in today’s Belarus.

22.04.22 – 11.09.22 DAVID LACHAPELLE. I BELIEVE IN MIRACLES. MUDEC

This exhibition is about humans as seen through the lens and the very personal gaze of the American photographer. More than 90 works exhibited to retrace a decades-long career; between sacred and profane, fashion and nature, LaChapelle immerses us in a baroque atmosphere made of imaginative narratives and unexpected details, colour and theatricality.

AND TO ESCAPE THE HEAT.

This swimming pool dates back to the 1930s. Aperitif by the pool from Thursday to Sunday until 11 pm!

Alfresco

It is a garden, a restaurant, and a meeting place, and it is as delicious as its cuisine. The wine list is excellent, and the shade of the wisteria in bloom is priceless.

Isola Pepe Verde

A shared garden in which spaces and activities live thanks to the voluntary contribution of the visitors; a different way of experiencing greenery, cared for by the citizens themselves. There is a play area for children.
